AC Collections is the brainchild of CEO/President Aileen Matarazzo. The company started 11 years ago out of her home as a “hobby.” She was a retired teacher and needed something to fill her time. As some of her friends were doctors and dentists, she approached them about assisting them on the collection of their receivables. It quickly took on a life of its own once those accounts that ceased paying began remitting monthly payments.

Aileen's success was a direct result of her professional phone manner, diligent follow-up and willingness to understand that often her clients wanted to retain a relationship with their patients after their bills were paid in full.

Her success ratio demanded that she move the business to its current location and hire a support staff of collectors and expand from only medical collections to the consumer and commercial collection arenas. And, as they say, the rest is history.
